December 14th 2024 (peacefully) in the loving, tender and excellent care of the doctors, nurses, staff and the management of the The Mater Hospital, Dublin.
Predeceased by her parents Richard and Sarah, her brother Jerome (Sligo) and infant brother Michael and her sister Sr. Richard (Alicia).
Sr. Christina will be sadly missed by her sorrowing brothers Ritchie (Limerick) and M.J. (Limerick). Sisters-in-law Evelyn, Betty and Máire, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces. Sisters of Mercy in Mc Auley House, Sisters of Mercy Western Province and her many relatives and friends.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon F42 NH27 on Wednesday (December 18th) from 3.30pm until 5.30pm followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday (December 19th) at 11 o’clock, followed by private cremation. Please note that the funeral Mass will be broadcast in the Roscommon town area on the Parish Radio 105.9 FM and can also be viewed live on Thursday at 11 o’clock by clicking https://www.churchtv.ie/roscommontown/
The Dufficy family and Mercy Sisters would like to thank the doctors, nurses, staff and management for the excellent care and support during Sr. Christina’s time in The Mater Misercordiae University Hospital.
