Sisters of Mercy, Stella Maria, Galway and formerly of Kenagh, Co. Longford.
Sr. Kathleen Owens passed away on Thursday, August 15th, The Feast of the Assumption, peacefully at University Hospital Galway.
Predeceased by her parents William and Brigid (née Rodden) and her sister Alma Shine.
Deeply regretted and fondly remembered by Sisters of Mercy Western Province, in particular the communities in Stella Maria, Lanesboro and Coolarne, her brother-in-law Martin Shine (Canada), her niece Miranda, nephew William, cousins and a large circle of friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at Stella Maria H91 XY93 Sunday August 18th from 3.30.pm to 5.00 pm. Arrival Monday 19th at St. Mary’s, Lanesboro for Mass of the Resurrection at 12.00 noon. Burial afterwards in Clonboney Cemetery, Lanesboro, off N63.
