June 1st, 2024; (Peacefully), surrounded by her adoring family, Mercy Sisters and staff of Innis Ree Lodge, Nursing Home, Ballyleague, Lanesborough.
Predeceased by her parents Mary and Francis, siblings Moira, Fr. Des, Bill, Pauline and Broddy.
Sr. Venard will be sadly missed by her sister Doris, brother Teddy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, by her many relatives and a wide circle of friends, Mercy Sisters of the Western Province and her community in McAuley House, Roscommon.
May Sr. Venard rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Monday evening (June 3rd) from 4 o’clock until 5.30pm, followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday (June 4th) at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in the Sisters of Mercy Cemetery, Roscommon.
The Flanagan family and Mercy Sisters would like to thank the staff at Innis Ree Lodge for their excellent care and support during Sr. Venard’s time there.
