November 1st, 2024; (Peacefully); surrounded by his family, in the devoted care of the staff at the Roscommon Hospice.
Predeceased by his beloved son Michael, parents James and Christina and his brothers Patsy, Sean, Seamus and Eamon.
He will be fondly missed by his loving wife Marie, sons Kevin, Alan and Declan, daughters Yvonne and Gráinne. Sister Ann (Goggins), daughters-in-law Ann Marie and Aoife, sons-in-law Martin (Lambe) and Tommy (Bulfin). Grandchildren Kate, Lorcan, Laura, Tim, Ronan, Senan, Mary, Seamie, Gracie and Rafe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May Syl rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Sunday evening from 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
