Teresa Shanagher (née Beirne) passed away on Sunday, December 15th, 2024. Peacefully, in her 95th year, surrounded by her loving family, at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Martin, infant daughter Margaret, parents Tom and Margaret, brother John James and sisters Patricia (Murray) and Evelyn (Nolan)

Sadly missed by her daughters Marie Brehony (Four-Mile-House), Irene McGrath (Roscommon Town), Kathleen Mannion (Curraghboy), Carmel (Dublin) Marty (Bray), Ray (Roscommon Town), Padraig (Derrane) and Aidan (Tonlagee). Deeply regretted by her sister Nancy (New York), sons-in-law and daughters-in-law. Always remembered by her 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Teresa rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Tuesday evening from 5 o’c until 7. Removal from her home on Wednesday morning arriving to St Brigid’s Church, Four-Mile-House for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30 o’c. Burial afterwards in Ballinderry Cemetery.
