A special celebration will be held in Roscommon this afternoon to mark the first anniversary of the arrival of Refugees from the war in Ukraine to the county.
Roscommon is currently hosting several hundred refugees in homes, hotels and centers who were forced to flee the conflict over the last year.
People from across the region are being invited to join members of the Roscommon Ukrainian Community in marking the date at Donamon Castle this afternoon from 1 o'clock.
Guests are set to enjoy music, dance, face painting, sports and Ukrainian food, along with a tour of the castle.
The Better Together Community Commemoration event is being hosted by Roscommon Volunteer centre.
The free event is open to all across the region, with the festivities due to finish after 4pm.
