Close to 120 people are currently receiving treatment for Covid-19 in hospitals across the Shanonnside Northern Sound region, with a further 11 patients awaiting tests to confirm they're positive for the virus.
Of the 117 patients hospitalised regionally, 14 are in intensive care units.
The Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore is dealing with the largest amount of Covid-19 patients locally, with 35 people hospitalised with the virus, 5 of whom are in critical care units.
Cavan General Hospital and Sligo University Hospital are dealing with similar numbers with 31 and 30 patients respectively undergoing treatment for the virus.
Elsewhere in the region, there are 15 confirmed cases and 6 suspected cases in The Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar.
While Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe is treating 6 confirmed cases of Covid-19.
Nationally, there are 1,100 people with the disease in public hospitals, while 175 people nationwide are in ICU.
