Over thirteen million euro was provided to companies in the Shannonside region by Enterprise Ireland between 2015 and 2018.
New figures released to Shannonside FM reveal that two meat plants and a sandwich maker received the single biggest payments.
Enterprise Ireland offers a range of supports to business seeking investments to develop their workforce, premises or for other capital costs.
The single biggest payment made to any firm across Longford Leitrim and Roscommon between 2015 and 2018 was €3.224 million in 2018 to Longford based Panelto Foods Unlimited Company.
That year a total of €4.46million in local business supports was provided - including €250,000 to Huddle Mobility limited.
In 2017, €1.3m was provided to Kepak Athleague in Roscommon from a total of €2.7million paid out to local firms that year and €250,000 was also provided to Goodness Grains in Longford.
In 2016, €2.107 million was provided to 28 local companies - including half a million euro for Kepak Athleague and €271,000 for C and D foods based in Edgeworthstown.
Leitrim based Vistamed secured funding of just over half a million euro in 2015 - with the biggest portion of the overall €3.8 million paid out loclaly that year accounted for by a €1.49m support grant provided to C+D in Longford.
In a statement issued to Shannonside Northern Sound by Enteprise Ireland, they claim that they offer financial and non-financial supports to assist manufacturing and internationally traded service companies deliver on start-up, innovation, grow their business or strengthen their competitiveness.
