Over €13 million worth of EuroMillions prizes have been received by winners across the Shannonside Northern Sound region so far. Research conducted by the National Lottery show that there have been thirty major winners up to this day since 2004.
In almost 20 years, the EuroMillions game has created 66 millionaires throughout the country. Figures released by the National Lottery have outlined 34 winners across the region.
In Cavan and Monaghan, a total of 20 players received a prize of over €100,000, while in Roscommon, 5 winners received a prize of over €100,000, with a €2,314,000 worth of prize money amounted. In Longford, 3 people have been reported to have won prizes of over €100,000, at a combined total of €1,165,000.
Leitrim is the only county in the region that has seen EuroMillions prizes, at 2 millionaires since 2004, along with 4 players receiving wins of over €100,000. A total of €13,141,000 has been won across the region.
Nationally, 659 people have won large sums of money, with 66 of these becoming millionaires as of today.
