150 new jobs are to developed by parcel delivery company DPD at its base in Athlone.
The company has announced 700 jobs are to be created by the end of the year as part of a major expansion of its operations
It is looking to recruit 550 drivers and operations staff nationwide and sorting staff at its headquarters in Athlone as the firm is investing 2.5 million euro into scanner and sorting technology for parcels.
