1,789 covid cases recorded today along with 20 new deaths this week

20 Covid-related deaths have been confirmed over the past week - the highest figure in over two months.

1,789 new cases have also been reported this evening.

360 Covid patients are in hospital - up five on yesterday - with 56 in intensive care.

Monaghan, Donegal, Cavan and Longford have the highest 14-day incidence rates in the country.
