Over 350 cases of Covid have been recorded in the Shannonside Northern Sound region in the last week.
Counties Cavan and Roscommon account for 59% of all the cases locally between the 12th and 18th of July.
The country's 14-day incidence rate of Covid-19 cases is now at it's highest point since the end of February.
It now stands at 231 cases per 100,000 people, while the five-day moving average of cases has increased by more than 98 percent in a week.
106 Covid cases were confirmed in Cavan in the last week - wit kits five day moving average of cases at 19.
Roscommon also recorded 106 cases of Covid in the last week - with its five day average of cases at 17.
74 Covid cases have been recorded in Monaghan in the last seven days - resulting in a Covid incidence rate of 120 - with a 5 day moving average of 12 cases
34 cases have been recorded in Leitrim with 38 in Longford.
