There was just over 200 new Irish citizenships granted to people in the Shannonside Northern Sound region at the most recent ceremonies.
The Ceremonies took place last month in the Convention Centre in Dublin. Longford and Cavan had the highest amount of new citizens in the region with 57 and 56 respectively. Roscommon followed just behind with 41 citizenships granted to people within the county. Leitrim and Monaghan had the lowest amount granted with just 25 and 24 respectively.
Nationally 6,000 people became new Irish citizens in the latest ceremonies.
