200 people accessed emergency accommodation locally in the month of April.
Figures revealed by the Department of Housing remain mostly unchanged on the previous month.
65 people were without a fixed abode in the Mayo/Roscommon area in April. In the Leitrim/Donegal area 54 people were homeless last month, an increase of one since March.
A total of 21 people accessed accommodation in hotels and B&B's in Longford in April, a rise of one in the space of four weeks. Meanwhile figures for Westmeath saw 60 people accessing emergency accommodation in the county.
The number of people recorded homeless last month in the country stood at 12,259, including more than 3,500 children. in part due to the end of a Government moratorium on evictions in the rental market.
