According to the Department of Housing 63 people were in temporary accommodation across Leitrim and Donegal last month the highest in the region.
In the Mayo-Roscommon area 56 people were homeless, a decrease of four in the space of four weeks.
25 people were accessing accommodation in hotels and B&B's in Longford, a rise of four since April.
Meanwhile, in Westmeath a total of 58 people were homeless in the county in May.
7 more people were accessing temporary accommodation in May compared to the previous month.
Nationally 12, 441 people were homeless in May - a new record high.
