Voting has finished in the Granard LEA in Longford.
A re-count was requested by outgoing councillor Colin 'Dolly' Dalton after a gap of just four votes were identified between him and Fianna Fail's David Cassidy.
Following a day long process, the recount found no changes to the initial count and the figures would stand.
The move leaves David Cassidy and Padraig McNamara as the final two councillors elected to the local LEA.
They join Fine Gael's Garry Murtagh and Paraic Brady, along with Independent Turlough McGovern.
The Ballymahon LEA count is still on-going. Follow updates from the Longford count centre.
