Farmers in the Shannonside region received 236 million euro in farming supports from September to December last year.
Figures published by the Department of Agriculture today show a total of 1.7 billion euro was paid out nationally across 10 schemes in the last four months of 2020.
Cork received the highest allocation nationwide at almost 200 million euro, while Dublin farmers received the lowest combined amount at 10 million euro.
The figures cover a range of farming support payments such as GLAS payments and the Basic Payment Scheme.
Roscommon farmers top the Shannonside regional list with combined payments of over 68 million euro across 4 months.
That's followed by Cavan, which saw 56 million euro paid out to farmers from the Department.
Farmers in Monaghan and Leitrim received 42 and 38 million euro respectively in farm support payments.
Finishing the list, The Department of Agriculture paid a total of 30 million euro to farmers in Longford, one of the lowest figures nationwide.
