260 people in Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon have availed of the expanded Help to Buy Scheme since its introduction in 2020.
The scheme helps first time buyers with the deposit needed to purchase or self-build a new house or apartment and will expire next year.
The initiative was expanded in 2020, with successful applicants claiming an increased relief of up to a maximum of €30,000.
260 new home owners have taken part in the expanded scheme, with those claiming under the €20,000 not included in the figures.
The new scheme will expire in December 2024.
160 claims were accepted in Roscommon so far on the programme, with a further 50 each successful in gaining the support in Longford and Leitrim.
