Over 26,000 homes across the Shannonside region are now connected to fibre broadband.
It comes as Eir has announced that over one million homes and business around the country are now on the fibre network.
Roscommon currently has the most homes with access at 12,300, representing a 65% completion of the rollout.
62% of the rollout is complete in Longford with 9,300 homes now on the network.
While in Leitrim, 5,000 premises are now connected to fibre broadband, with 54% of the rollout still yet to be completed.
It's hoped that the combined efforts of National Broadband Ireland and private providers will help achieve the government target of nationwide fibre coverage by the end of the decade.
