A local student activist is raising concerns over the provision of student accommodation following yesterday's Government announcement of the return of on-campus teaching.
The majority of 3rd level students attended college virtually in the last academic year, with many second-year students attending campus for the first time this year.
Former vice president of The Irish Second Level Students' Union and Longford man Luke Casserly says many students and parents waited until the return to campus was clarified in the government roadmap to source housing.
