Four teenage boys have been arrested in connection with the ramming of a Garda car in west Dublin two weeks ago.
Last week the Garda commissioner said they were taking the public order incident very seriously.
An investigation into the endangerment of Gardaí this day two weeks ago on September 19th in Dublin has resulted in four teenage boys being arrested.
It followed an operation earlier this morning involving officers from Ballyfermot, Clondalkin and Rathcoole Garda stations.
Footage posted on social media showed two cars speeding through a housing estate in Cherry Orchard before one of the vehicles rammed a squad car head on, as onlookers cheered.
Gardaí had previously carried out a number searches in the area following the public order incident.
The four teenagers are being questioned at a number of Garda stations and can be held for up to 24 hours.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone with information to contact the incident room at Ballyfermot Garda Station.
