An additional 50 general nursing places have been announced for TUS Athlone.
They'll come on stream for CAO and QQ1 students from this September.
Nursing at the TUS Athlone campus was established twenty-five years ago, and the University has over twenty years of experience running an honours degree programme.

Nursing Students at the TUS Athlone Campus complete clinical placements in modern acute hospitals in Mullingar, Tullamore and Portlaoise as part of their 4-year degree programme.
Dr Des Cawley, Head of Department of Nursing and Health at the TUS Athlone campus says there's a demand for places locally.
