55 government lobbyists have registered addresses in the Shannonside Northern Sound region according to a new report.
The 2022 regulation of lobbying report from the Standards in Public Office Commission was released this week, breaking down the figures for each county.

Cavan recorded the highest local level of registered lobbyists in the Northern Sound region at 14, followed by Monaghan at 13
Next in the Shannonside region is Roscommon at 11, while Longford and Leitrim are home to 9 and 8 registrants respectively.
Nationally, there are a 2,430 lobbyists registered with the Irish Government, many of which are located outside of the country.
