Local cases in the county are up over 30 when compared to June.
149 cases among the population in Roscommon has resulted in the HPSC recording an incidence rate of 230, while case numbers in the county have jumped by close to 30 in the last month.
Longford has recorded the second lowest rate of virus transmission nationwide this week, with just 78 new cases notified compared to 56 at the end of June.
The HPSC has recorded a incidence rate per 100,000 people of 190 in Longford, just above the lowest figure of Monaghan at 175.
