Close to 8,000 people across the region are without power this morning as Storm Barra continued to rage overnight.
The numbers have increased across the morning as people wake up to outages.
Nationally, Nearly 60 thousand homes and businesses remain without power.
Leitrim is the most affected county locally this morning with over 5,000 homes and businesses without power.
That includes close to 4,000 premises in the wider Mohill area and over 1,000 in the Ballinamore area.
Cavan and Monaghan are reporting power loss in the last hour with 721 in Cavan Town and 1,500 outages in Emyvale, Monaghan.
In Roscommon, there are several smaller outages across the county including Boyle, Castlerea and Roscommon Town, with over 1,000 customers without power in total.
Longford is currently recording 185 homes in the Clonbalt area of the town affected by outages.
Storm Barra has also affected local services, with Leitrim's Vaccine Clinic in Carrick on Shannon closed today.
Those with an appointment will receive a text with alternative arrangements later today.
