Leitrim is recording the highest number of hotel rooms allocated to asylum seekers and refugees locally.
The figures have been released by the Department of Integration and Equality.
Over 100 international protection applicants are being accommodated in Leitrim hotels as well as a further 572 Ukrainian refugees.
37% of hotel accommodation is being used by the Departments in County Longford with 78 asylum seekers being accommodated and a further 213 Ukrainians.
Over a quarter of hotel in county Roscommon, 32 percent, are housing 118 international protection applicants and 572 ukrainian refugees.
Earlier this week almost a third of hotel beds outside of Dublin are being used as State accommodation.
The tourism body argues rural communities that benefit from the trade, 'desperately need as much stock as possible'.
