A Leitrim Councillor is calling on Coillte to develop nature trails at Cornagillagh Woodland.
It's understood discussions are ongoing between Leitrim Council Council and the forestry body to turn the woods situated between Dromod and Rooskey into a recreational amenity.

The Dromod native says the forest is rich in biodiversity and home to a variety of wildlife and he's hopeful this will be made more accessible to the public.
