A wet and windy start to the Bank Holiday Monday with further heavy spells of rain leading to spot flooding is in store for the Shannonside region.
Fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds will back westerly with some damaging gusts through the day forecasted for Leitrim.
A status yellow wind and rain warning has been issued for 11 counties.
It'll be in place for Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo and Wexford from 3am until 10pm tomorrow.
Met Eireann says heavy rain can be expected across the region and in Leitrim there'll be strong winds with gusts of up to 100 kilometers an hour.
