A Leitrim Councillor says the ACRES payment scheme has turned into a farce for farmers.
Fianna Fáil Cllr Paddy Farrell brought forward a motion to this weeks Carrick on Shannon Municipal District meeting calling on the council to write to the Minister about the issue.
An IFA public meeting was held last week in Co. Roscommon to discuss the delay in payments to farmers.
