Aer Lingus customers are advised to come to Dublin Airport at the normal time for their flights today, after a technical glitch was fixed.
The shutdown yesterday forced the cancellation of 51 European flights, affecting close to 10,000 passengers.
Editor of Air and Travel Magazine, Eoghan Corry has this advice for anyone stranded abroad:
"Unfortunately this time of year, and it is a very, very busy time, we have 320 flights departing Dublin Airport today for instance. But it's going to be a little bit difficult and a little bit expensive. We have got to remember that this is Aer Lingus's problem, it is not up to you to find your own way home, it is up to them to fund whatever discomfort you have been through."
