Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue is praising the work of the Social Farming project which is based in Leitrim.
The Minister is visiting a number of projects and communities in the county today and will attend the AGM of the Natura Hill Farmers Association in Carrick-on-Shannon tonight.
He visited the farm of Tommy Earley outside Drumshanbo this morning where a number of Ukrainian refugees are working on the land with the support of the Social Farming scheme.
The Minister says he believes the project nationally has huge potential in the years ahead…
