A Leitrim resident says a rising homelessness crisis has been triggered by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
The death toll from last week's disaster is nearing 44,000.
Ros O ' Sullivan who is Head of Emergency Operations with Concern is appealing to Irish people for help.
The agency is already providing food, blankets, and clothing to those affected.

A fundraising event to provide aid for those affected by the earthquake will be held at 11 o'clock in St Joseph's Hall in Leitrim Village this Sunday.
