Roscommon footballer Aisling Hanly says she's delighted if she's been a source of inspiration for young people who want to get involved in sport.
The 18 year old Convent of Mercy Roscommon student has been speaking to Shannonside FM today following her winning goal in yesterdays All Ireland final for the school,
She'd already come into the limelight in the last 10 days after giving an interview on behalf of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association and speaking frankly about having bene diagnosed as profoundly deaf as a child and then going on to use cochlear implants which she has to protect with a scrumcap while she plays football.
Aisling says it's been an intense couple of weeks but she's enjoyed all of it...
