Discount chain Aldi plans to open a large supermarket in Boyle. The German company is about to lodge planning permission for a food store in Patrick Street.
It would be around 1,800-square-metres in size and there would be 96 car-parking spaces. Local councillor Sean Moylan is welcoming the plans:
