The Ballinamore MD is showing 193 cases recorded over the past two weeks giving it a rate of 1957, compared to the national average of 1,160.
The electoral area taking in Longford town and surrounds has the next highest rate locally with 238 new cases over the same time frame, and a rate of 1,483.
The south Roscommon area is the third highest in the Shannonside region with 273 new cases and a rate of 1,366.
The Granard MD is showing 128 Covid cases from the 2nd to the 15th of this month, with a rate of 1,199, while the local electoral area of Carrick-on-Shannon and surrounds is next highest on the local list with 128 new cases and a rate of 1,126.
The Boyle electoral area in north Roscommon, the Roscommon town area and surrounds, and the Ballymahon area in south Longford, are all showing rates of below the national average at 934, 813, and 741 respectively.
