Almost 4,500 homes without power across region this evening

Almost 4500 homes across North Roscommon and South Leitrim are without power this evening.

A major outage has been reported in the Arigna and Drumshanbo with over 4,000 properties without electricity, it’s expected it will be restored in these areas by 8:30pm this evening.

A further 45 customers lost power in Carrick-on-Shannon with ESB power check estimating a restore time of 8:15

257 are without power in the Ballymoe/Ballintubber area and it’s hoped power will be restored there by 6:30pm
