Thousands of homes and businesses around the country are without power this afternoon.
The county of Roscommon is one of the hardest hit counties with outages.
The ESB says the largest faults in the wider area of Castlerea area with 502 customers affected, in Boyle there are 410 customers affected.
Elsewhere in Roscommon there are 61 customers in the Loughglynn that is currently off the electricity grid.
The ESB have estimated that electricity will be returned to the areas by 5 o clock this evening.
A status orange wind warning is still in place for Donegal, Galway and Mayo until 3pm, while the rest of the country is under a status yellow alert.
