An ambitious fundraising challenge will be launched this week in support of a Roscommon woman who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Brian Kelly, Eoghan Diffley, Emmet Burke, Ciaran McManus, and Conor Murphy aim to kick 32 points in all 32 counties in aid of Conor's mum, Nicola. The 32, 32, 32 Challenge will see the five visit club pitches around the country in a bid to complete the challenge.
The event will be officially launched this Saturday night in The Shannon Bar in Tarmonbarry. A 44-year-old mother of two and wife of Roscommon Councillor Joe Murphy, Nicola was diagnosed with MND in 2023. Speaking to Shannonside FM News, Conor said his mother's positive attitude has been an inspiration to all who know her.
