A planning appeal has been lodged against a new housing development in Co. Longford.
Longford County Council granted permission to construct 10 new houses in Mosstown, Kenagh earlier this year.
The homes would consist of 8 two bed terraced houses and 2 three bed semi-detached houses.
Also included in the application is an access point from the adjoining Deerpark estate, a green open space, boundary fences and connections to the existing sewer network.
Issues had been raided by residents in the Deerpark estate over traffic increases leading to road safety concerns.
An Bord Pleanála will make a decision on the application by the end of the year.
