Around 10,000 people will head to west Roscommon over the next nine days for Castlerea Rose Festival.
The annual event gets under way this morning and continues until tomorrow week.
The centrepiece is the Rose Selection Evening on Sunday, August 4th, in Trinity Arts Centre at 8pm.
Treasurer of the organising committee, Paschal Fitzmaurice, says an action-packed festival is in store.
