Athlone gardai investigate thefts of catalytic converters

Gardai in Athlone are investigating the theft of three catalytic converters from cars last week in the town.

The incidents all involved Toyota Prius cars and occurred in the Coosan and Friary Park areas.

It's believed similar incidents were reported in the wider Meath and Westmeath areas.

Gardai are asking anyone who may see anything suspicious to contact them in order to report any possible thefts of the valuable car equipment.
