This specialised service started last month and is run by Athlone Midlands Rape Crisis Centre.

The relics will be in Ballaghaderreen, Athlone, Sligo and Kiltoom in south Roscommon over the next six weeks.

They are going on a tour around Ireland and will visit Knock, Ballaghaderreen and Athlone in the coming weeks.

It's taking place in the Athlone Springs Hotel at 7pm, which will be led by Bishop of Elphin Kevin Doran.

The Athlone Palestinian Solidarity will hold the event in order to draw attention to the human cost of the ongoing war in the territory.

The closing date for submission of tenders is the 17th of October.

All proceeds from the show will go to The Jack and Jill Children's Foundation.

There is speculation Independent Ireland's Michael Fitzmaurice will move to Galway East - leaving a vacancy in Roscommon-Galway.
