Ballaghaderreen homes should have power restored in next hour

It's hoped power will be restored to around 50 customers in Ballaghaderreen in the next hour.

The ESB is reporting an outage in the west Roscommon area since just after 6am this morning.

According to the Powercheck app, electricity should be restored just after 11am to 53 affected customers.

It's not clear what the cause of the power outage is.
