Ballinasloe ED under severe pressure according to INMO

712 people, including 25 children, are waiting for a bed in hospitals across the country this morning.

Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe is the worst affected locally, with 34 patients waiting on trolleys or in chairs in the emergency department.

The INMO says 561 patients are in EDs, while 151 are in wards.

University Hospital Limerick is once again the worst affected facility nationally, with 124 people on trolleys.
