Ballinasloe Says No is calling on people to once again support a campaign to oppose a proposed waste transfer station in the Poolboy area.
An application to operate a waste transfer station has been submitted to Galway County Council.
It has to validate the application and it will be made available for public review from next week.
The campaign group successfully fought two similar proposals on grounds of its impact on local water sources, air pollution and excess traffic.
After the full extent of the plans are revealed next week, a public meeting will be held online to update the community.
Senator Aisling Dolan says people will only have a short window to make their voices heard.
