Emergency services are currently attending the scene of a fire at the Ballygar Health Centre on the Galway/Roscommon border.
Several units of the Mountbellew and Roscommon fire brigade are at the scene in the middle of the village, with the blaze extinguished in the last two hours.
The fire began at approximately 7.30 this morning with the fire service arriving on the scene within 15 minutes.
The building is reported to have been significantly damaged in the fire.
The Health centre is home to the practice of well-known GP, Dr Martin Daly, with the doctor and his team now transferring to a local vacant nursing home to continue preparations for the local vaccine rollout.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound news in the last few minutes, Martin's brother Peter Daly says that all patient medical records are safe and saved online:
