A Ballygar man is highlighting the importance of organ donations as he cycles across the country with a dialysis machine.
Peter Conboy's wife Liz Conboy underwent kidney transplant after being diagnosed with Chronic renal disease at fourteen.
The cyclist is fundraising for the Irish Kidney Association CLG and hopes to raise awareness of the services they provide.
He began his journey at Temple Street Children's Hospital last Wednesday and will be stopping in Ballinasloe around midday today, before continuing onto Loughrea.
Peter will finish his cycle at National Commemorative Garden Salthill, to honour the family of Liz's doner on Sunday.
