Ballyleague/Lanesboro man Ciaran Mullooly has been elected as an MEP.
He secured the fifth seat in the Midlands Northwest constituency, after a battle with Sinn Fein's Michelle Gildernew.
Luke 'Ming' Flanagan secured the first seat in the 19th count and Fianna Fáil's Barry Cowan was elected in the 20th.
Fine Gael's Nina Carberry and Maria Walsh were elected in the 21st count, along with Mullooly, from Independent Ireland.
Mullooly secured the fifth seat, with 88,177 votes, while Gildernew got 82,723.
The count concluded at 3am on Friday morning, after a mammoth count that last over 80 hours and over five days.

Walsh (FG): 100,781 (+327) - elected
Carberry (FG): 98,872 (+754) - elected
Mullooly (II): 88,177 (+1,488) - elected
Gildernew (SF): 82,723 (+1,084) - not elected
