A Ballymahon farmer has been named the 2019 FBD Teagasc Student of the Year.
Enda Farrell completed a two year Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Agricultural Dairy Herd Management in Ballyhaise College.
He focused on herd performance measurement, financial management and the need for work-life balance.
Enda and his family created a family farm partnership and established a dairy herd in 2020.
