Residents in the Ballymahon area are being warned to expect some power outages over the coming weeks.
The warning comes from ESB Networks following a fault this morning that saw over 1,300 people left without power.
Supply has now been restored to customers in the Ballymahon area after falling branches damaged overhead wires in the Foigha area.
In a statement to Shannonside Northern Sound, ESB Networks say they are putting a plan in place for timber contractors to mitigate the risk of fallen branches in the area, where planned outages will be needed for the safe completion of the works.
